There are three different versions to choose from.
see > Buy Mac mini - Apple
For some examples:
If you pick the 8-Core CPU with 16GB and 1T of storage it is $1199
If you pick the 8-Core CPU with 24GB and 512GB of storage it is $1199
If you pick the 10-Core CPU with 16GB and 512GB of storage it is $1299

The stock 10-Core model has always shown as $1299 here in the States.
Perhaps what you are seeing is a Fluctuating Exchange Rate based on your Location....?
Hi den.thed
I am in the UK and have been tracking the US price since the Mac mini Pro (10coreCPU 16/512)was launched. I travel frequently to US and was hoping to make a purchase on my next visit (the UK price is £1399). Earlier today I opened Apple web-site and was puzzled to find this model quoted at $1199 and also the uplift to 1TB quoted at $180 (previously $200). On 3 visits to the web site the price remained at £1199 now I see it has reverted to $1299.
I have enquired of Apple which is correct with no response.

Nothing to do with Exchange Rate. I only know what I saw earlier today. Don't be surprised if spec is changed to allow a 1TB off the shelf version later this month and 512 price is marked down !!!!
The ToU here are clear and we can not speculate on that.
My advice, is to Pay the price for the model that best suits your need.
Assuming you declare, with UK duties added, the difference isn’t worth the trouble. If you don’t declare and get stopped, that’s too much trouble. That’s what the “no response” means…
Hi hcsitas
I have UK and USA citizenship and work in both areas. I use Mac Mini as I would a laptop.
Makes no difference - it’s an import, declaration & duties are due.

Oops - this is getting awfully close to breaking forum rules. That’s in addition to admitting to stretching import laws. Take care! Have a nice day!
