Will Apple remove the 10-minute Airdrop limitation in a future iOS release and allow users to take responsibility for accepting or declining info coming into their iPhone or iPad?

You're not addressing Apple here and we, just users like you, are not aware of Apple future plans/decisions regarding features introduced with iOS/iPadOS 16.2.

Why does ios 16.xx limit Airdrop to 10-minutes? We always had the option to ACCEPT or DECLINE an Airdrop.
