Forced Lossless downloads

I have all settings to NOT download Lossless audio, tho that's all it will download. I don't want nor do I need Lossless...? I have MAC book Air, iPhone 12Pro, and iPad Pro...All settings NOT to download in Lossless Audio...?...Can someone tell me what the deal is...?
