My girlfriend and I started family sharing. I am the leader of our family but she’s the one sharing Apple Music and it won’t let me connect. Why is that?

My girlfriend and I started family sharing so who I could use her Apple Music but when I go to use it just tells me cannot connect. Does anyone know how to fix this?

What exactly is saying "cannot connect"?

Apple Music should be automatically shared, if it's a Family Plan, and should be accessible from the Listen Now section in the Music App. Voice, Student, and Individual subscription plans cannot be shared.

Are you attempting to log in with her Apple ID by any chance? If so, don't do this. Apple IDs should never be shared for any reason.
