"Rotation Icon" on my iPhone and new Continuity Camera feature

What happens if I hit the "Rotation Icon" on my iPhone when I am using Continuity Camera? Is Rotation disabled? Is it something that can be added in a future release? It seems like a great feature for people who want to Livestream on location. I'm so used to the rotation feature to walk around. Having to look at the lenses on my camera is counter-intuitive and make it difficult to frame. Difficult but not impossible.
