My iPhone 12 (iOS 16.3.1) pro didn't "open" the internet connection to my Car by wifi hotspot.
With iOS 15 there was no issue and it worked very good.
Since I've updated to iOS 16 and newer it doesn't work.
The workaroud with restart or resetting the network settings didn't help.
Also a clean install didn't help.
Whats the Problem here with iOS 16 and newer?
Is there any solution for this issue?

This is absolutely an iOS problem. Same thing happened to me, the second I updated to newest iOS 5g stopped working, it's there on the status bar 3 or 4/4 bars, just doesn't load anything. 4g works fine. Two friends, identical issue. I'm on o2 they're on EE so it's not a carrier issue. Also a couple other forums posts about it, seems to be 16.0.2 onwards same issue. if I could downgrade back to iOS 15 I would.
Apple aren't much help either, went through a 30 minute text conversation, they said they wanted to escalate it and that I'd receive a call today at 3gmt, nothing.

As described in my initial post I've done all recommended steps from apple regarding this issue.
There is also no problem with my provider.
My plan is big enough with 20gb per month and i also have full 5g.
In my car during a ride there is no stronger wifi available. Were should it come from?!?!
I've updated my phone from iOS 15.7 to 16.1 and now I have this problems.
An iOS downgrade is not possible to 15.7 because apple stopped signing this iOS Version
