AppleCare Plus for Watch

is it better to pay upfront or monthly if I want to extend beyond 2 years?

The monthly version will automatically continue without you needing to do anything.


If you pay up front, you will need to remember to change to the monthly version after the up front version expires to continue coverage. It can only be done once it expires and you have 30 days after it expires to extend it.
