Anyone knows if Apple knows about this annoying bug and if a correction is being planned. Notifications on a locked screen are possible with emails and with applications like News. Why is it not possible with messages on iphone 13 ios 16.3.1
No notification of messages when screen locked: I realized that texto with emojis are in fact notified even when screen is locked; similarly photos and audio files sent with messages. Let us hope that this will give Apple clues to solve this annoying problem. In the mean time I will ask my family and friend to always include an emoji with their messages.

I’ve hard reset my phone multiple times.
I’ve erased content and settings multiple times.
Nothing has worked. I still don’t get notifications from messages when the phone is locked. All of my other apps work fine.
I gave up a while ago and have push friends and family away from messages to other messaging apps that are able to notify me.
