Why am I not supposed to open another Apple ID
There’s not a limit on having multiple AppleIDs. (e.g. you can have a “work” and “personal” AppleID)
HOWEVER … iOS and iPadOS devices can only be used on a single AppleID at one time.
And swapping AppleIDs on these devices is fairly time consuming and not practical for routine “swapping.”
Macs can more easily use multiple AppleIDs by swapping local user accounts.
