iPad predictive text not showing

Im using an iPad Pro 5th gen. with a Logitech keyboard, my problem is that the predictive text box im used to see in the middle of the screen is not showing anymore. On the on screen keyboard i get my normal word suggestions but as soon as i use the physical keyboard i just have a little box on the right or left bottom of the screen where i can see the selected keyboard language and dictation icon. I searched the forums but didn’t find a working solution for me, for example i tried toggling the predictive text option in the settings.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Hello Scrat-,

Predictive Text is a handy feature. This article explains how to turn it on and off: How to use Auto-Correction and predictive text on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. Are these the steps you took when you said you toggled the option in Settings?

If yes, and the issue persists, try taking the following steps which may help with this: restart your iPad, make sure it is up to date, close the app in use at the moment, then reopen it and make sure all apps are updated.

We hope this helps. Let us know if we can assist with anything else at all. Take care.
