iPhone 16.3.1 continually asks me to verify if I trust my computer, when I am at home where the auto. backups are always trusted.

Yes, this is a new Apple security feature. Every time we connect the phone to a computer it now asks to trust it.
But when I'm at home it's multiple times a day!
But the screen pops on all day long at random times. Why does my iPhone want to have a back-up mutiple times?
