mount smb
I successfully installed Monterey on my late-2015 iMac's internal HDD and I have been using for several months. I decided to add an external Samsung T7 USB boot SSD. I properly formated the SSD and used CCC to clone the internal HDD to the external SSD. The T7 boots successfully (very quickly!) but neither the internal HDD nor my AirPort network drives will mount. The internal drive is visible in Disk Utility and I ran First Aid successfully but it will not mount. The AirPort drives are visible in Finder/Network but also will not mount. If I shut down the iMac and disconnect the SSD, it boots just fine (but slowly...) from the internal HDD and all the AirPort drives are visible and everything works exactly as before. I can plug the SSD into a USB port and everything on the drive is visible. Why can't I mount the other drives after booting from the SSD?
