Stocks Complication unable to select all stocks in watch list

I am trying to setup a watch face with which displays multiple stocks (from stocks app watch list) on different complications. For the most part this works, however I am unable to choose from all of the stocks within my watch list.

I can open the stocks app on the watch and see the full list but the same list is not available for adding to a complication. This worked about a year ago, but hasn’t worked for a while now. What’s up?

Hello,

Thank you for your response, however it doesn’t appear to be correct. Adding a stock ticker to a complication certainly exists and shows in the list.

I have found the solution though, it turns out I just needed to add a new stock to the Stocks App watch list using the Apple Watch rather than the iPhone. As soon as I did this all the other stocks I had added to my watchlist on the iPhone became available and I was able to assign them to multiple complications within a single watch face.

Thanks,

Brenden

Hello -Brenden-,

Thanks for choosing the Apple Support Communities. It looks like you are trying to set up a watch complication that no longer exists. Using the link below, you may be able to find a workaround.

Customize the watch face - Apple Support

"Add complications to the watch face

You can add special features—called complications—to some watch faces, so you can instantly check things like stock prices, the weather report, or information from other apps you installed.

  1. With the watch face showing, touch and hold the display, then tap Edit.
  2. Swipe left all the way to the end.
  3. If a face offers complications, they’re shown on the last screen.
  4. Tap a complication to select it, then turn the Digital Crown to choose a new one—Activity or Heart Rate, for example.
  5. When you’re finished, press the Digital Crown to save your changes, then tap the face to switch to it.

The customize screen for a watch face with the Heart Rate complication highlighted. Turn the Digital Crown to browse complications.

Some apps you get from the App Store also include complications."

If you're unable to find a workaround, we suggest submitting a feature request or product feedback by following this link: Feedback - Watch - Apple

We hope this helps.

Cheers!
