Unable to Renew Logic Pro Trial

Hi everybody! Today I attempted to login to my 90-day free trial of Logic Pro 10.7 and it informed me that me trial had expired. It gave me the option to delete the expired trial version in order to officially buy the program. I clicked on this option and once I saw the price tag, I decided I wasn't ready at the moment to make the investment.

After a quick Google search, I realized that I could've simply renewed my trial for an additional 90-days had I not deleted the previous version. I spoke to a senior staff member from Logic Pro, and after he looked into the matter he told me that there was nothing that could be done on his end because the point of the free-trial extension is to allow you to use the same exact version, (i.e. 10.7) that you were initially using for your trial. At this point though, the newest trial would be 10.7.7, so it would appear that I have no choice but to spend $200 on the program at this point.

I'd appreciate it if anyone has any work arounds for this annoying situation that I'm in!

Thank you!

*UPDATE* Turns out my trial was NOT actually deleted, but was actually placed into my trash-bin. After removing it from the trash-bin I'm still unable to take advantage of my additional 90-day trial. The Logic Pro Installation Notes on the Apple Website read: "To install, first open the disk image, then double-click the installer package. You will be guided through the installation process. If you’re using a previous version of the Logic Pro trial, you’ll be able to use this version free for an additional 90 days."

I can't understand why I'm unable to take advantage of my additional 90-days!
