Bluetooth issues with bluetooth headphones on iPad 5th gen 12.9"

I’ve had a couple of issues since last night and Apple support helped with a couple. I still have a bluetooth issue with my headphones. I can pair them, but last night my kitten walked across my keyboard and the sound stopped. I have turned bluetooth off, disconnected everything and now paired my soundcore speakers, but still no sound with bluetooth on. There is sound with no speakers connected, but I cannot get sound with my speakers and bluetooth. My kitten doesn’t even weight 3 pounds, but maybe she stepped on the right combination of keys to turn sound off with bluetooth? Is that even a possibility?
