Firestick does not accept AppleTV password

I tried everything. Cleared AppleTV cache, deleted and reinstalled, etc. Finally, I deleted the App, switched off mains electricity, switched off router mains electricity, waited a minute and switched all back on. I reinstalled the AppleTV App and the QR code was there and I could sign in. Good luck!

AppleTV (app, not device) won't accept password Just signed up for the AppleTV app. I am able to sign in and view content on my phones, an older TV and several PCs, but not on our 6-month-old smart TV. Each time, I receive a message that the account information is incorrect (yes, same user ID and password, exactly). The login screen on this TV also won't show alternate login methods (QR code, or code to input at activate.apple.com, as my older TV allowed in addition to accepting the direct login credentials).

How to sign into Apple TV on fire stick 4k I updated my FireStick and reinstalled the Apple TV app on the new FireStick. It worked flawlessly previously but on my new FireStick I cannot log in. I no longer get the QR code to log in with my phone. Instead I'm asked to sign in with my Apple ID. Every time I log in, I get the message "Verification Failed. There were errors signing you in. Wait a moment, then try again." I get this message despite uninstalling and reinstalling the app, restarting the firestick, etc.. Please let me know why I can't see the QR code to sign in like I did previously and/or why my apple ID and password aren't working either.
