Apple Watch SE 2 wont unlock 13” M1 MacBook pro

As of recently my Apple Watch SE 2 will not unlock my 13” M1 MacBook Pro. Have done the usual toggle on and off. All on same iCloud account.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 13.2

Have tried to reboot both the MacBook Pro and Apple Watch? To shut down the Apple Watch, press and hold the side button, tap the power button the on the top right, then slide the slider to power off. To power back on press and hold the side button till you see an Apple logo. Hope this helps!
