This card cannot be used with Apple Pay on this device (iMac)

Cards that I have added on my iPhone cannot be added to my iMac. Instead I get "This card cannot be used with Apple Pay on this device".

iMac (24-inch, M1, 2021, 2 ports)

You can use Apple Pay on your iPhone and Apple Watch.
