Beats Fit Pro vs. AirPods Pro 2nd Gen for transparency running

Hi all,

I bought a pair of Beats Fit Pro (latest model) on sale ($50 off), thinking I’d hold on to them until their return date to see if Apple were coming out with a new version with the H2 chip. Apple has just updated the colors without adding H2, so I’m thinking that might not happen as soon as I’d like.

So, I’ve been running with AirPods (standard) 2nd Gen for a while, but when it’s hour 3 of a race, they tend to slip due to sweat. So, I’m thinking the Beats would stay in better. But, I’m almost not at all interested in noise-cancelling and would have them in transparency mode almost all the time.

So, the question is: is the smarter (Adaptive) transparency mode of the H2 chip worth waiting for in a future Beats Fit Pro? Under what circumstances am I likely to notice the difference?

Thanks,

Todd
