HDCP error with lightning to hdmi (apple brand)

I read on the threads about this issue being the cause of streaming provider or the film itself etc. not Apple. Well, that is BS! Apple does this sort of thing thing all the time and you end up with devices, headphones, adapters etc, that you can no longer use. BUT, with some money, you can get updated items and get rolling again. Such a scam.

I updated my phone and the very next use, HDCP error. I grab my daughters phone, not running on the 16.3.1 update, but the prior I just lost/updated from, and guess what, it works-streams just fine. Just like mine did before the update!

This problem is 100% the update. Now I am screwed out of 100$ worth of unusable adapters. I miss and will go back to an Android/usable device that doesn't play these games.
