I have a similar question that was asked earlier. I installed a new Facebook account on my laptop because I was hacked. But when I go to my desktop, it only shows the earlier account that was hacked. I have a similar problem with my iPhone although this time it keeps asking me for a security key/ thank you

I got hacked now can’t sign into Facebook or messenger….please help Hi. So I was hacked the other day. Had to change so many passwords in my phone. My phone was being wierd so I reset it. Now I can get onto Facebook through safari but even then it signs me out of there sometimes. I can’t get the app or messenger to work. On the app it keeps displaying this message: Go to your authentication app Enter the 6-digit code for this account from the two-factor authentication app that you set up (such as Duo Mobile or Google Authenticator). I don’t have a code and I have been on Facebook for a long time since the site first started. I don’t know what to do I’ve been through the help sections. Tried sending emails but got no reply. I’ve spent hours trying to figure it out. On the safari bit I’ve tried on there as well, sometimes I get the message saying you can’t change this right now. Please help… Thankyou

I'm not quite sure what you mean by installing a Facebook account on your Mac.

Assuming you use Safari to log into an account whether it is with Facebook or anything else, I think what you will want to do is sign out of that account, and sign in to the new one.

If Safari is automatically populating a website's login information, you can change or delete that entry in Safari's Preferences... menu > AutoFill.
