What is "distnoted"? Consuming to much memory.
iMac 27″, macOS 12.6
If you see that it is stuck using too many system resources, you can safely use Activity Monitor to 'STOP' them. The system will restart them as needed:

In below image I see a Whole Host of " distnoted " appearing in Activity Monitor >> View >> View ALL processes
None of them are consuming too much Memory
They are all Native and normal Apple Process.
Some appear to be associated with Software Update, Accessory, Security Agent, WindowServer, Game Controller ec
Is there one Specific " distnoted " that is consuming too much Memory ?
