Apple Watch not recording sleep tracker data

Last night would have been the 7th night of me getting sleep data since purchasing Apple Watch 8. However, this morning there was no notification the data was available (new iPhone bought especially to synch with watch) and nothing in the sleep app.

I did nothing different last night and watch was fitted correctly.

I have turned off both phone and watch and unpaired watch from phone, then re-paired and restored back up data.

Still no data which suggests the watch did not track sleep data. All settings for sleep tracker haven't changed.

Is this something to be expected from an Apple Watch ?

Would you happen to know how much battery it had BEFORE the Sleep Schedule started?

The battery level has to be higher than 30% in order to track your sleep. There is a setting available that will remind you to charge it before bed if it's less than 30% (a notification setting).

I have heard, but I haven't seen it myself, apparently if the watch is less than 30% when the Sleep Schedule starts and then you set it on the charger for a while to get some charge, it won't track Sleep that night.

That was confusing, my apologies.

To simplify that paragraph... If it's less than 30%, get it on your charger and back off again BEFORE the beginning time of your sleep schedule.
