Battery
My wife’s I phone shows 1% charged when it has a charge in it of 78%
if I turn phone off it will show 78% charged when I turn it on but after a few minutes it goes back to 1% why

Then it's time to have that battery replaced (<80%), since in that condition it may have unpredictable behavior.
