IWatch fall detection will not connect when iPhone is also connected.

Trained my Dad to use his new iPhone but his iWatch can not connect with hearing aids while the phone is connected. it's easy to switch back and forth for Apple engineering but try to show a 96 yo how to do this after they fall to summon 911 or stop the iWatch from responding. Dad has new $8,000 Miracle-Ear Hearing aids that work great with his new iPhone. Trained him to use that at 96. But now his iWatch fall detection cannot sync to Miracle-Ear hearing aids as it only supports one device at a time. anyway, to send IWatch alerts to his iPhone to retransmit back to his iPhone so he can hear fall alerts quickly?

In reality I don't think there is any need for him to hear it and the worst that can happen is that (1) the emergency call is made.

"If your Apple Watch detects that you're immobile for about a minute, it will start a 30-second countdown, while tapping you on the wrist and sounding an alert. The alert gets louder, so that you or someone nearby can hear it. If you don't want to call the emergency services, tap Cancel. When the countdown ends, your Apple Watch will contact the emergency services automatically, as well as your emergency contacts."

Or that (2) fall detection does not detect the fall in which case instruct him how to say "Hey Siri call [your name]" on a regular basis so in emergency it comes naturally.
