iPhone 13 Mini Using Jira App To Open Files From Spotlight

Does anyone know why my phone is using the Jira app to open files when I click on them from spotlight? What happens is I search for a file using spotlight, and when I click the file, Jira open and uploads my file as an attachment to a new Jira ticket. I've tried hard resetting and uninstalling/reinstalling both apps. The only way my phone uses the Files app is by deleting Jira, then Files app defaults to using itself to open my files from spotlight.

Jira is setting itself to open whatever type of file you are trying to open from the Files App, as such the Files app will relinquish control to it.

You can hold down on the file you are trying to open, and select the "Share" option from the menu and then choose a different App to open it in.

Otherwise, you will need to uninstall Jira if you don't want it taking control of the file type you are trying to open in the Files App.

You may want to try turning off the Files and Folders access for Jira in Settings ➜ Privacy & Security ➜ Files & Folders

If it appears there. Not sure if it will stop it from opening files from the Files, or just prevent access to the Files App from within the Jira app though.

Try pressing and holding on the file until the context menu appears, then tap on Share and see if you can select a different App to open the Files with.

As to Jira granting itself access, it should be asking you when trying to open a file if it is turned off. If its not doing that, you can report the App to Apple by going to the App Store app entry for the app, and scrolling down to the bottom until you find the "Report a Problem" button.
