Apple no longer does data recovery, although some AASP's might. With a 2017 or earlier MBAir, it may be possible to remove the SSD and install it into an external enclosure which can be connected to another Mac externally (assuming the SSD is not damaged). Apple uses a proprietary SSD connector, so the only external enclosure I know about for this SSD is the OWC Envoy Pro Enclosure which is expensive although sometimes OWC has a used or open box one available at a slightly lower price. OWC also has official resellers in other regions for their products.

If you have a 2018+ MBAir, then your only two possible options for data recovery are to use a professional data recovery service such as Drive Savers (provides free estimates & is recommended by Apple), or to have an unofficial board repair to attempt to fix the damage to your Logic Board (risky as many techs don't understand how to do this properly, plus they may not have access to necessary components anyway as Apple has prevented manufacturers from selling the small electronic components to anyone else). Even a professional data recovery service will most likely need to do this anyway.

With the newer Macs there are a lot more ways to lose access to data so people should always have frequent and regular backups of their computer and all external media (including the cloud) which contains important & unique data. It is nearly impossible to recover data from the recent 2018+ Macs.
