Continuity camera - mac mini m1 with iphone 14 max pro

I am using my mini m1 (ventura 13.1 latest) with iphone 14 max pro (latest ios) as a camera (continuity camera - wifi and bluetooth connection).

When I use skype and youtube on the same time I have problem. Once the system filled the disk (Memory exhausted, poweroff and power on to recover), next time I got the message that the camera was in use by another process, thus was not able to broadcast live to youtube.

Both programs work fine with a usb connected Logitech camera.

I will try to cannect the iphone with lightning-usb cable to the mini to see if that solves the problem, or to replace skype with Facetime.

Is there any other solution to the problem?

Thank you in andance

Howdy robin_on_hood,

It sounds like you are having issues using your iPhone as a webcam for your Mac. We know how important this is for you, and we will help get you to the right place to find a resolution.

If Continuity Camera isn't working as expected or your iPhone disconnects from Wi-Fi to optimize Continuity Camera, try these solutions.

• Make sure that your iPhone and Mac meet the system requirements.
• Make sure that your iPhone is properly mounted.
• Install the latest macOS updatesiOS updates, and updates for your video app.
• If you haven't unlocked your iPhone since it last restarted, unlock it, then lock it again.
• Plug your iPhone into your Mac.
• Restart your iPhone or Mac.
