The rubber around MacBook Pro screen melting...

Is there anyone who has a solution?

When I contacted Apple Castle Hill Towers in Sydney, they stated that this was the first time they had encountered a problem like this and that it had been exposed to heat. Reading some of the other online comments, I'm not convinced. I'm now using baking paper between the screen and the keyboard to keep it from sticking. They stated that if they were to replace it, they would have to replace the entire screen, which would be prohibitively expensive, and suggested that I look into purchasing a new machine.

I am dissatisfied with the outcome and this is not what I expected when using an Apple product.
