‘Find My’ not updating friends location

I have about 5 people on my Find My app.

However one of them doesnt update from their home address. They’ve been with me away from this location before and they still show as home. this shows for everyone that has him on Find My


However, if we leave the Find My app open and go to another app for a few minutes, once we go back to Find My, it quickly updates to his real location and then shifts back to Home!!


we’ve done everything we can think of to fix it but nothing is working

To help clear up location issues, test the behavior after having your friend disable and re-enable sharing their location. See those steps here: Find people and share your location with Find My - Apple Support


Stop sharing your location
To stop sharing your location with everyone, follow these steps. You can also stop sharing with a specific person, or turn off Allow Friend Requests. 
1. Open the Find my app.
2. Select the Me tab.
3. Turn off Share My Location.


If the issue persists, then reach out to Apple Support directly to help investigate the behavior. You can use the following link to reach out: Contact - Official Apple Support
