How to save apps in iCloud

Your suggestion is good, but it cannot solve the OP's (Author's) problem (the internal storage of the iPhone is full).

Backing up stuff to iCloud doesn't free up iPhone space.

And, as already mentioned, third-party apps can't be "saved" anywhere. When you perform a backup or synchronization on iCloud or on a computer, apps are not saved, but only any data related to them.

The only thing zizipho176 can do is make room, by deleting something (unimportant/unused) from his iPhone.

Apps MUST stay on your iPhone's internal storage, you can't save/store them in any different places, sorry

Perform the iCloud backup. It’s available inside your  account on the upper side of the settings app. Go there and tap iCloud. Inside that you will get the option. It will keep up to date all your apps, settings and photos
