iPhone not receiving notifications

iPhone 14 pro max, not receiving notifications, on lock screen and Home Screen, you have to

click into the app to see if you have any notifications, how can this be fixed??

ive tried everything

You may find the related article at the top of the post useful: Use notifications on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support.

In Settings > Notifications you can see the individual notification settings for each application. Additionally you may try changing the "Display as" option from "count" to "stack" or "list" which may reveal the missing notifications on your Lock Screen.
