Google Drive stopped working with Ventura

I've been using the Google Drive app for a few years. After I upgraded to Ventura, things started going wrong. Every once in a while, if I had rebooted, Google Drive would not load my files (it said I had 0KB, when on the web there was plenty). I've been in detailed discussions with Google. After running diagnostics they said that it was an Apple problem. The trace is very long, but it appears that some access to a service is being blocked. I've tried all the suggestions of Google: deleting DriveFS, reinstalling Google Drive, rebooting, etc. but nothing works. I know that Ventura has included new security features, and I'm guessing that they're interfering with Google Drive. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm running Ventura 13.2.1.
