Where did my photos go ?

i don't think you can recover them unless you backed it up. when you connect your iPhone, can you go into My Computer and see the iPhone and then browse through the folders to see the pics there?

If you restored with backup from your ipod, then they are very likely gone.

You did not import these important photos/videos before restoring your iphone?

Pics/videos taken with iphone are imported just as they would be from any digital camera. They are not part of the sync process.

If you restored from the backup of your ipod, then I can think of no way to get them back.

For future reference, you should import the photos/videos often, as you never want the only copy of something important on a mobile device ( you don't want one copy of anything important, period). Certainly do not upgrade/restore/etc without being sure that you have imported everything.
