Mac wifi says it’s connected to my iPhone but no Internet

I tether my iPhone to my MacBook Pro. It’s shows that it has connected but I don’t get internet .. I try it 3 or 4 times and then suddenly it works for a while then it stops ..

if I’m connected to my home router via wifi no problems ??!!

If I understand correctly your iPhone is connected to your cellular carrier, and you are using the Personal Hotspot as a Wi-Fi router. In that scenario any problem is with your cellular network connection, so the place to go for help is your carrier. Note that if the Personal Hotspot connection is idle for a period of time it will disconnect to limit power drain and cellular usage.
