App Library issue

Hi, I recently bought an iPad Air 5 and this is my first time using any Apple products. I found out there’s a problem in the App Library and was hoping someone can help me with it.

As you can see, when using landscape mode the apps a normal, but whenever I switch back to portrait mode the apps are all cramped together, even the folder names are acting weird. I searched online for solutions but all I can find is the apps in ‘other’ folder issues, not the one that I’m facing right now.

Hope to find a solution soon. Thanks in advance!

I’ve not been able to replicate the issue that you see with the App Library and iPadOS 16.3.1.

If you haven’t already attempted a forced-restart of your iPad, you should do so - as this will often clear an isolated software issue:

Force restart iPad (models with Face ID or with Touch ID in the top button)

If your iPad doesn’t have the Home button, do the following:

  1. Press and quickly release the volume button nearest to the top button.
  2. Press and quickly release the volume button farthest from the top button.
  3. Press and hold the top button.
  4. When the Apple logo appears, release the top button.

Force restart iPad (models with the Home button)

Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
