Size of the album cover in playlist view

I would like an option to adjust the display size of album covers in the playlist view. Currently it requires half the screen which makes it very difficult to use on a 13" macbook.

After some research, it seems that this is currently impossible. Is an improvement planned for the next updates ?

When Apple axed 'cover flow' I was devastated, since I loved viewing the art and music at the same time. All of my album art is perfectly square and within resolution guideline... however on my display, they are not square, and are 104% taller. Can I remove the album-cover images at the top of a playlist window? Is it really necessary for the top half of playlist windows to be occupied by an image of the representative album cover/s plus tons of white space? I just want to see the song list, for crying out loud. [It's the same if I "open in new window," btw (scroll down).] Many thanks to anyone who can help!

Apple Music Album covers in album display are no longer square Album covers, which are perfectly square, will display as square on my iPhone, and also in Music when I look at a specific album or its info, but if I look at my albums in an album display, the covers are no longer square, but are taller than wide, so a portion of the left and rights sides are cut off. Apple seems to be unable or unwilling to fix this. Is anyone else experiencing this and has thought of a solution? Basically the display in the album display is not 1:1 but I see no way to change the display ratio. [Re-Titled by Moderator]
