Yes, just keep in mind that Mac are very picky and it will not be happy using PC variants that have similar spec's.

If you are in the USA I suggest purchasing RAM from either OWC or Crucial.

Yes. I did this with my 2020 Core i7 27-inch iMac for a total of 40 GB. The Core i7 equipped iMac has a special requirement for how the RAM slots are populated.
