Cannot log in to Facebook or Instagram on iPad in Chrome browser

On my iPad I cannot log in to neither Facebook or Instagram in the Chrome browser. Facebook shows "Cannot treat your request" and Instagram just shows the logo without possibility to log in.

Both applications work from PC (in browser) and from the apps.

Are you having this issue with Safari as well or is it just isolated to Chrome? Have you tried a different network to see if things persist? You'll also want to make sure that you're running the most up-to-date software versions for your iPad and the apps installed. Here's some information that might be helpful:


"Update your iPhone or iPad wirelessly

  1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
  2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
  3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
  4. If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install."
