Grey band across images in Safari.
The question is self evident. Why am I getting this? I am still in Mojave because much of my owned software is 32bit and Apple has killed off so many great things.

I will give it a try. I am increasingly finding that Safari is incapable of delivering what other browsers can do.
Proper rendering of web pages. Link connections, image projections.
Then again, it's run by an accountant.
And regularly deprecates more useful features than Windoze has ever created.

The reason for asking is to determine whether the problem is limited to Google images.
It is limited to Safari.
