pages emails uanable to be opened by recipient

Pages documents attached to email are unable to be opened by Word users. Any clues?

The only application on the planet that can open Pages documents is a Pages application. Export your Pages documents to Word (or PDF) and share those via email with Word users. Word v16.31 or later users can open a PDF and convert it to Word .docx format.
