I did exactly what you suggested. The Apple support page directed me here - to communities.

After a horrible experience last year, when Apple claimed my credit card declined a .99 cent charge for iCloud storage (my card was never charged,) I spent over 6 hours trying to contact Apple. I gave up on despair. Apple does not want to hear from users.

if it were possible to contact Apple, I would. But it’s not possible.

You can’t call them. You can’t email them. You can’t text them.

The only remote way I have reached apple is through one of their tools where you select a question and get a scripted reply. But my question is not on the list of available questions.

I have found this to also be the case with Amazon.

It’s 2023. Businesses want your money, but that’s all. If you’re not giving them money, they want nothing to do with you. I’m not whining or complaining. I’m simply stating facts.
