Redemption error "Offer code limit"

I have been provided redemption codes from a great IOS developer for use with my team at school. However, some of my team are getting an error stating something along the lines of "You have reached your limit with these types of codes for this Apple ID". So far I have had this on personal devices as well as devices managed by Jamf.


What does this error mean and how do I get around it to make the codes work. Each code that has an error has only been used once.

This is not really an Apple issue, this is an issue to take up with the developer that provided the codes to you.
