Does anyone that has had repairs done know what merchant category code (MCC) Apple repairs are categorized as? I checked with both Apple support and my credit card company and they both said they didn't know and that the other company should know. Trying to figure out which category to change my card (not an Apple credit card) to for an unexpected repair.

To confirm, did you get your device repaired directly through Apple or an Authorized Service Provider?

My device has not been sent out yet. Looking to save some money with the maximum cash back but after calling and texting Apple again, no additional info. That's why I posted here thinking maybe someone who has had work done would know how it was billed. Will probably be shipping out in 2-3 days and am looking to figure it out before then. It will be fixed by Apple not a third party repair center.
