AirPod audio stops when moving my arm

I’m playing a game, I have audio coming through my AirPods… I move my arm that has my watch to grab a drink and the audio from my game stops! I went through all the settings, un-paired, re-paired, I’m on latest iOS, etc… Anyone else see this or have an idea?

The audio then can come out my phone but after 30 seconds it returns to my AirPods… until I move again!

ALSO… audio stops when I just turn my wrist to look at the time! WTH?

The details in Use Now Playing on Apple Watch - Apple Support covers this scenario which sounds like there may be movement of the Digital Crown which can adjust the volume.
