Widgets reset configurations after restart device

Description:

Configurable iOS 14 Widgets reset all dynamic configurations after reboots device.

It can be reproduced in iOS14-iOS16(all system/device/apps).

Reproduce:

Example

- Add system calendar App' [Up-Next] Widget to desktop.

- Disable 「Mirror Calendar App」, restart device. [50% chance reset widget's configuration to default]

- Enable「Hide All-day Events」，restart device.[90% chance reset to default]

Summary

[1] Edit a configurable widget's configuration, change parameter's value.

[2] Restart device.

Repeat [1][2] 2-3 times, 90% probability will cause configurable widgets reset to default.

Expected:

Widgets keep its configurations after restart device instead of lost configurations.

Thanks for your reply, I have submitted a feedback with screen recording, FB12045048.

I'm an iOS app developer, hundreds of users reported that iOS 14 Widgets are reset after reboot.

I have conducted a lot of tests and found that this is not a problem with my application. From iOS14-iOS16, whether it is a system application or someone else's application, dynamic configurable widgets have the problem of being reset after restarting the device.

Since all the widgets of my app need to be edited to be displayed, resetting the widgets will greatly affect the user experience, and I hope it can be fixed as soon as possible.
