For help with your Mac not starting up as expected, test the steps found in the article here: If your Mac doesn't start up all the way


Based on the alert it seems your Mac attempted to start from macOS Recovery. You can find more here: If you can't start up from macOS Recovery


You may also want to try to boot to safe mode and test: How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support
