Hello,

I am having this pop up when trying to open new applications. Currently I am trying to open the Zoom desktop App.

Not sure what to do. I click done, but it still does not let me open the application.

Hey StrahlyPop,

Let's see if we can help get sorted out what's causing this behavior.

Have you tried restarting your Mac in safe mode and then try to open the apps? If not, this is a good first step to try. Restarting in safe mode, it's normal for it to be slower, it's performing checks much like First Aid would do. Once in safe mode, try to open the apps. After testing the apps restart your Mac to go back to a normal mode. See this link for restarting in safe mode: How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support

  • If the apps opened in safe mode, try opening them again once back in normal mode.
  • If the apps still opened to a black box, then you will want to contact the app developer. For Apple apps, that would be Apple Support. For third-party apps, you would contact their support desk.

Take care!
