Only one folder of bookmarks is not syncing over iCloud

I can see all my original bookmarks on my iPhone and iPad, but not on my mac. I have tried signing out of iCloud on my mac and removing the mac from my iCloud account, but no luck.

This has happened with other bookmark folders, where only one folder would be affected.

Anyone have a similar experience and fix? Thanks

Safari bookmarks revert back to default My Safari bookmarks keep reverting back to default. I have iCloud synced and I can see my own bookmarks on my iPhone, but they won't sync on my Mac. Additionally, I can edit them and add the ones that I want but the next time I open Safari they go back to the default ones. Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know how to fix this?

Safari bookmarks on all my devices revert back to an older version, MacOS, iOS and iPadOS In the past, all bookmarks would update to the last change that was made on whatever device I was using, so a change on my iPhone would appear on my Mac and iPad etc. Now they keep changing to some old version of the bookmarks, so if I make a change on any of my devices, they revert back to some older version of the bookmarks (I sort out my favorites into folders and then push the most popular ones I use to the top of the list, that change in order is always lost now). On top of this new bookmarks are added but now to the beginning of the list not the end. I have tried deselecting my syncing with iCloud on a master machine (where I set up my bookmarks as I want them), then deleting the bookmarks on all the other machines while syncing so the iCould version should be deleted, but they just keep coming back and are never removed from iCloud. So I can never resync the machine that I set up as a master as it merges with whatever is in the cloud. Also I cannot stop it adding new bookmarks to the start of a list of bookmasks (I do not sort alphabetically). I am at the point of removing syncing, stop using Safari and moving to Chrome (that works perfectly). It used to work perfectly but this seems to have started with some build of the various current OS's for my devices. Again note that this happens on all my devices not just the Mac etc. Hope someone can help and thank you.

Safari Bookmarks do not sync anymore on my iPhone. The Safari Bookmarks on my iPhone do not sync anymore with Mac Air. I have tried all the recommendations like stop and restart the iCloud sync of Safari both on my iPhone and Mac but it does not work. I have seen more than 64.000 of deleted bookmarks with the recovery data function of iCloud after login with my AppleID credentials, so I am afraid that such very high quantity of deleted Bookmarks generates the issue, but I am not able to definitely delete all the old deleted Bookmarks (they are kept in the account for 30 days), but only few are deleted, therefore I would need some years to delete all :( ... Any further recommendation to re-establish the correct operation of the Bookmarks Sync? Thanks

Hello volcano_man,

We understand you have some issues with your iCloud or Safari bookmarks not syncing properly to your MacBook Pro. You also mentioned working through a few steps already. We do have a helpful resource with additional tips to go through that could resolve the issue.

If your iCloud or Safari bookmarks aren’t syncing - Apple Support

Check your Mac date and time to make sure it is correct:

Open System Settings.
Choose General in the left sidebar.
Select Date & Time.
Confirm your time and date are correct, along with your time zone.

Go through the additional steps in the resource. If you still aren't able to sync your iCloud bookmarks, let us know if you see any particular error message. That will help us narrow down what might be causing this. We look forward to hearing back from you.
