Autodesk/revit on the new Mac book pro

Hi, I am an Interior Design student and I am trying to figure out if I will need to buy a windows computer for school even though is really do not want too. My school tells ID students that we will need a windows to run Autodesk/Revit and I am trying to figure off if that is true. I am thinking of buying the new Macbook Pro and want to make sure those programs will work on it.

Salutations reide208,

We’re going to recommend that you reach out to the developers of the apps you need to run and find out if they are compatible with macOS and also with Apple silicon. Apple silicon is the processor installed in the new MacBook Pro models.

We found the following link from Autodesk where you can see the different system requirements for their products - System Requirements | Autodesk Support

Thanks.
